The Experience

Explore

You’ll dive into local culture, whether it’s hidden spots or iconic places. You’ll have time to really soak it in, rather than just ticking boxes.

Movement

Each retreat weaves in martial arts and movement, but at your pace. Think beach drills, scenic runs, and sessions that keep you active without taking over your trip.

Community

You arrive as strangers but leave with a crew. No forced bonding, just shared experiences, good chats, and a group you’ll actually miss.

It's more than travel, it's connection.

RazRetreats are about experiencing a place properly, not just visiting it. You’ll train, explore, and connect, without the stress of planning everything yourself. It’s structured enough to guide you, but relaxed enough to actually enjoy where you are. You’ll be based in real locations, not hidden away in resorts. There’s time to move, time to explore, and space to do your own thing. Most people arrive solo. That changes quickly. You leave with real memories of a place, and a group you didn’t expect to care about.

Meet Raz

I’m Razon “Raz” Mazumder, the founder of Raz Retreats. I’m a London-based operator, traveller and martial arts coach with a background in project and operations management. Over the years I’ve worked across financial services, technology, esports and independent consulting, helping teams turn ideas into things that actually work. That same mindset sits behind Raz Retreats. I’ve travelled to more than 60 countries and spent extended periods living, training and building relationships in places around the world, including several months in Bali. I’m much more interested in understanding how a place actually works than simply passing through it. Movement has been a major part of my life for more than 15 years. I train and coach boxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where I’m currently a purple belt. I’ve coached complete beginners through to experienced athletes, taught internationally, and supported fighters across boxing, Muay Thai and MMA. But Raz Retreats was never meant to be a fight camp. The idea is to take the things I value most about travel and bring them together properly: movement, exploring a place beyond the obvious tourist route, good food, new experiences and a group of people you genuinely enjoy spending time with. My operations background matters here too. I care about the details, the logistics and making sure things actually run smoothly. Guests shouldn’t have to spend their trip worrying about transport, bookings or what happens next. There should be enough structure to make the experience easy, without making it feel rigid or over-managed. Most guests arrive solo. Very quickly, it stops feeling that way. The goal is simple: you leave having moved, explored, met good people and experienced somewhere properly, with memories and friendships that last longer than the trip itself.
